After obtaining a Master’s degree from the Ecole polytechnique in Paris, Virgile Rennard joined LINAGORA in September 2021 as a research engineer and CIFRE PhD student, carrying out his doctorate in collaboration with LIX, the computer science department of the École Polytechnique in Paris. His research centers on deep learning for graphs and natural language processing, and his thesis combines both threads by tackling the topic of leveraging discourse graphs for abstractive meeting summarization.
